Jeet Kune Do

Jeet Kune Do (JKD) is the combat system Bruce Lee formulated in 1967. The literal translation is the “way of the intercepting fist.” JKD is basically an eclectic approach to martial arts; taking the best techniques from other arts and integrating them into one system to suit the abilities of the practitioner. JKD is free-forming, and thus does not teach any particular “style.” JKD is the genesis of the modern state of mixed martial arts. Core JKD concepts such as combat ranges, economy of motion, rejection of traditional training methods, are emphasized at kimera mixed martial arts.
